Kingston FC
Kingston FC were a Canadian association football, soccer team based in Kingston, Ontario, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The team was awarded a franchise in 2011 as a member of the Canadian Soccer League, and participated in the league for three seasons, 2012 to 2014. In February 2015, Kingston FC formally announced that it had withdrawn from the Canadian Soccer League for the 2015 season. Furthermore, the Club announced that it had made application to the new League1 Ontario for a new professional team that will play in Belleville, Ontario. Effective April 1, 2015, the Club has renamed itself the Quinte-Belleville Royals (QBR) Soccer Club, and applied to field a men's sem-professional team in League1 Ontario in 2016 and a woman's team in 2017, although this never occurred. Kingston, Ontario
Kingston is a city in Ontario, Canada, on the northeastern end of Lake Ontario. It is at the beginning of the St. Lawrence River and at the mouth of the Cataraqui River, the south end of the Rideau Canal. Stephane Assengue (born May 23, 1990) is a Cameroonian footballer. Career Assengue started his career in his native Cameroon with regional team Daga Young Stars before being signed by Major League Soccer side New England Revolution on March 26, 2009. 2014 Canadian Soccer League Season
The 2014 Canadian Soccer League season was the 17th since its establishment where a total of 20 teams from Ontario took part in the league. The season began on May 24, 2014, and concluded on October 26, 2014. York Region Shooters won their second championship in a 5–4 victory in a penalty shootout over Toronto Croatia in the CSL Championship final held at Esther Shiner Stadium in Toronto. York Region became the second club in the league's history to produce a perfect season, and championship after the Toronto Olympians in the 1999 season. CSL Championship
The Canadian Soccer League championship final, or CSL Championship, is the post-season match of the Canadian Soccer League (CSL) and is the successor to the CNSL Championship. The winner is crowned champion as in other North American sports leagues (i.e. via a playoff following a regular season). This differs from other top soccer leagues, which consider the club with the most points at the end of the season to be the sole champion. York Region Shooters is a Canadian association football, soccer team, that plays in the Canadian Soccer League. The Shooters played their home games at the St. Joan of Arc Turf Field in the City of Vaughan, Ontario. The team's colours were blue and white, mirroring those of the Italy national football team, Italy national team and reflecting the cultural heritage of the club. Stephen David Hindmarch (born 16 November 1989) is an English former footballer who played as an attacking midfielder or striker. Early life Hindmarch was born in Penrith, Cumbria and grew up in the Lake District town of Keswick. Paul Willis (born 21 August 1991) is a Scottish footballer who last played as a midfielder for Linlithgow Rose. Willis began his career with Dunfermline Athletic, and has also played for Ayr United, East Fife (three spells), Berwick Rangers (two spells), Albion Rovers, Peterhead and Stirling Albion, as well as for Canadian club Kingston FC. Adam Shaban (born 28 February 1983) is a Kenyan former footballer who played in the Kenyan Premier League, Norwegian First Division, 2. divisjon, Oman Professional League, and the Canadian Soccer League. The Canadian Soccer League Golden Boot is an annual Canadian soccer award given to the top goalscorer for each season in the Canadian Soccer League. SC Waterloo Region
SC Waterloo Region was a Canadian soccer team based in Waterloo, Ontario. The club competed in various divisions in the Canadian Soccer League. The club was formed in 2011 under KW United FC and initially competed in the league's second division. The following year, the organization's name was changed to SC Waterloo Region, and it was promoted to the league's first division.
