''King of the Mischievous South Vol. 2'' (shortened to ''KOTMS II'') is the debut commercial mixtape by American rapper Denzel Curry, released on July 19, 2024, via PH Recordings and Loma Vista Recordings, Loma Vista. The mixtape features guest appearances from Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Key Nyata, Maxo Kream, TiaCorine, ASAP Ferg, That Mexican OT, 2 Chainz, Mike Dimes, Kenny Mason, Project Pat, Ty Dolla Sign, Juicy J, Armani White, Ski Mask the Slump God, ASAP Rocky, and PlayThatBoiZay. It serves as the sequel to his third mixtape ''King of the Mischievous South Vol. 1 Underground Tape 1996'' (2012), and also serves as the follow-up to Curry's fifth studio album, ''Melt My Eyez See Your Future'' (2022). Denzel Rae Don Curry (born February 16, 1995) is an American rapper. Born and raised in Miami Gardens, Florida, Curry started rapping while in the sixth grade and began working on his first mixtape, ''King Remembered Underground Tape 1991–1995'', in 2011, which was influenced by underground Florida rapper SpaceGhostPurrp. Virgil René Gazca (born February 2, 1999), known professionally as That Mexican OT, is an American rapper from Bay City, Texas. He is best known for his 2023 single "Johnny Dang" (with Paul Wall and Drodi), which entered the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and led him to sign with Interscope Records.
