Kim Won-ho
Kim Won-ho (; born 2 June 1999) is a South Korean badminton player. He was the silver medalists in the Badminton at the 2024 Summer Olympics – Mixed doubles, mixed doubles at the 2024 Summer Olympics and Badminton at the 2022 Asian Games – Men's doubles, in the men's doubles at the 2022 Asian Games. He was part of Korea winning team at the 2017 Sudirman Cup. Kim reached a career-high as world number 3 in mixed doubles with Jeong Na-eun and world number 9 in men's doubles with Choi Sol-gyu. Kim is the son of the Olympic gold medalist Gil Young-ah. When he was educated in the Maewon High School, he competed at the 2016 Badminton Asia Junior Championships, 2016 Asian Junior Championships, and won the silver medals in the mixed doubles and team event. He was also a bronze medalist at the 2017 BWF World Junior Championships, 2017 World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles and team event. 2016 Badminton Asia Junior Championships
The 2016 Badminton Asia Junior Championships is the 19th edition of the Asia continental junior championships to crown the best U-19 badminton players across Asia. This tournament was held in Bangkok, Thailand, between 9 and 17 July 2016. The championships consists of mixed team and individual events. The 2017 BWF World Junior Championships (officially known as the Djarum, Blibli.com Yonex-Sunrise BWF World Junior Championships 2017 for sponsorship reasons) was the nineteenth tournament of the BWF World Junior Championships. It was held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia at the Among Rogo Sports Hall between 9 and 22 October 2017. Host city selection Bilbao (Spain) and Yogyakarta (Indonesia) originally submitted bids to host the 2016 BWF World Junior Championships, 2016 competition. Badminton World Federation later awarded the event to Bilbao while Yogyakarta was appointed as host for the next edition. According to the Indonesian delegation, the Spanish bid for the 2016 edition was approved due to fears of political instability should Bilbao awarded the 2017 edition. The 2024 Badminton Asia Team Championships (officially known as the SELANGOR Badminton Asia Team Championships 2024 presented by PKNS for sponsorship reasons) was the fifth edition of Badminton Asia Team Championships, held at the Setia City Convention Centre in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, from 13 to 18 February 2024.
