Kim Si-eun (; born January 19, 1999) is a South Korean actress. Kim is known for her titular role in ''Next Sohee'' (2022). Career Born in 1999, actress Kim Si-eun made her debut in 2016 with the show "Live Talk! Talk! Boni Hani". ''Next Sohee'' is a film directed by Jung Ju-ri that portrays the story of a high school student undergoing on-site training at a call center and a female detective who questions the incidents. In an interview, Jung Ju-ri shared the story of how she came to cast newcomer Kim Si-eun in the lead role. It all started when Jung Ju-ri stumbled upon a YouTube video featuring Kim Si-eun energetically hosting EBS's 'Live Talk! Talk! Boni Hani.' Intrigued by her vibrant presence, Jung Ju-ri arranged a meeting with Kim Si-eun. The Director's Cut Awards () is an annual awards ceremony for excellence in film in South Korea. It is presented by the Korea Film Director's Network (KFDN), a group of approximately 300 Korean filmmakers. The Chunsa Film Art Awards ( also known as The 28th Chunsa International Film Festival) have been hosted by the Korean Film Directors Association, since the 1990s to commemorate the Korean film pioneer Chunsa Na Woon-gyu. The Buil Film Awards () is a South Korean film awards ceremony hosted by the '' Busan Ilbo'' newspaper. It began in 1958 as one of the earliest film awards in the country.
