Kilsheelan
Kilsheelan () is a village and civil parish within the barony of Iffa and Offa East in County Tipperary, Ireland. A part of the civil parish is in neighbouring County Waterford. It is also one half of the Roman Catholic parish of Kilsheelan & Kilcash in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Waterford and Lismore. It is situated on the north bank of the River Suir, east of Clonmel and west of Carrick-on-Suir, on the N24 and R706 roads. As of 2016, it had a population of 812 people. Kilsheelan is notable in having won the Tidy Towns competition twice, in both 1975 and 1979. It is represented by the Kilsheelan-Kilcash GAA club. Tipperary Senior Football Championship
The Tipperary Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition between the top Gaelic football clubs in Tipperary. The winners of the Tipperary Championship qualify to represent their county in the Munster Senior Club Football Championship, the winners of which advance to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. History Over the decades, the Tipperary championship has been dominated by teams from South Tipperary, with Fethard and Clonmel Commercials leading the roll of honour, though Loughmore-Castleiney from Mid Tipperary strongly challenge and were the 2014 champions. Tipperary Intermediate Football Championship
The Tipperary Intermediate Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised since 1974 by the Tipperary County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association for the second-tier Gaelic football clubs in County Tipperary in Ireland. The series of games are played during the summer and autumn months with the county final usually being played in October. The championship has been played on a regional basis, whereby the respective champions from the Mid, North, South and West championships contested the county series of games. Now it is an all County 4 Group stage followed by knock out. The winning Club will receive the Barrett Cup. Tipperary Junior A Hurling Championship
The Tipperary Junior A Hurling Championship is an annual championship of hurling for male players in the junior grade and is organised by the Tipperary County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). The championship has been awarded almost every year since the first tournament in 1910. The series of games is played during the autumn months with the final currently being played in November. The championship has always been played on a straight knock-out basis whereby once a team loses they were eliminated from the series. Evan Comerford (born 18 January 1994) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for the Tipperary senior team. Career Born in Clonmel, County Tipperary, Comerford first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Tipperary minors team before later joining the under-21 side. He made his senior debut during the 2015 league. Comerford immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen. At club level Comerford plays with Kilsheelan–Kilcash. He made his championship debut in 2015 against Waterford. Thomas Larkin (1931 – 5 April 2020) was an Irish hurling, hurler and Gaelic footballer who played for Tipperary Championship club Kilsheelan–Kilcash GAA, Kilsheelan–Kilcash. Bill Maher (born 21 January 1994) is an Republic of Ireland, Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling and Gaelic football with his local club Kilsheelan–Kilcash GAA, Kilsheelan–Kilcash and with the Tipperary GAA, Tipperary senior inter-county team since Tipperary senior hurling team season 2015, 2015 and Tipperary senior football team since 2016.
