Killswitch Engage
Killswitch Engage is an American metalcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1999. The band's current lineup consists of vocalist Jesse Leach, guitarists Joel Stroetzel and Adam Dutkiewicz, bassist Mike D'Antonio, and drummer Justin Foley. Howard Jones (American singer), Howard Jones was the band's lead vocalist from 2002 to 2012. Leach was the band's founding vocalist but left after two albums. He was replaced by Jones, and Killswitch Engage rose to fame with its 2004 release ''The End of Heartache'', which peaked at number 21 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 and was RIAA certification, certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, RIAA for over 500,000 shipments in the United States. Adam Dutkiewicz
Adam Jonathan Dutkiewicz (born April 4, 1977) is an American musician and record producer. He is the lead guitarist of the metalcore bands Killswitch Engage, Aftershock (band), Aftershock and Times of Grace (band), Times of Grace, as well as the guitarist and co-lead vocalist for the melodic death metal supergroup Serpentine Dominion. He has also produced and engineered albums for several other metal bands. Biography Dutkiewicz, of Polish, Austrian, Scottish, and English descent, was born and raised in Westhampton, Massachusetts. He attended Hampshire Regional High School. Dutkiewicz also later attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, studying Record producer, production, audio engineering, and bass guitar. Killswitch Engage is an American metalcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts. Their discography consists of nine studio albums, three video albums, and twenty-three singles. Formed in 1999, the band signed with Ferret Music, and released their self-titled debut album in 2000. Howard Jones (born July 20, 1970) is an American heavy metal and metalcore vocalist best known as the former lead singer of Killswitch Engage and Blood Has Been Shed. He is the current vocalist of Light the Torch, formerly known as Devil You Know, and SION with YouTuber/guitarist Jared Dines. Jones' vocal performances have been described as "emotive and strident", and he has been referred to as "one of metalcore's finest singers".
