''Killadi'' () is a 2015 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film directed by A. Venkatesh, and produced by Salem Chandrasekharan. It stars Bharath and Nila, while Vivek and Roja play pivotal roles. The music was composed by Srikanth Deva. After beginning production in 2006, the film went through production troubles before releasing on 30 January 2015. Bharath Srinivasan (born 21 July 1983), known professionally as Bharath, is an Indian actor, who works predominantly in Tamil cinema, along with few films in Malayalam, Hindi and Telugu. He made his acting debut in 2003 with S. Shankar's '' Boys''. He made his Malayalam debut '' 4 the People'' (2004). Then, he played the antagonist character in '' Chellamae'' (2004). He received his breakthrough as his first lead in the Tamil film '' Kaadhal'' (2004). Vennira Aadai Moorthy (born 25 July 1936) is an Indian actor and comedian in Tamil cinema. He has starred in many Tamil films and television serials as a comedian and also played supporting roles. He is a lawyer by education, and holds a B.L. degree in addition to a PhD in astrology. Salem Chandrasekharan (died 10 May 2021) was an Indian film producer and distributor. He produced high-budget Tamil films like '' Ghajini'' and '' Sabari'' under Sree Saravana Creations. Business Before venturing into film production, Chandrasekharan was a distributor and owner of a three-screen theatre in Salem named ARK Complex. His first production was ''Sullan'' (2004) and later was supposed to produce Vetrimaaran's debut film ''Desiya Nedunchaalai'' with Dhanush, which was later shelved. Despite the success of '' Ghajini'' (2005), his following ventures did not perform well. Chelladurai (1941 - 7 February 2015) was an Indian comedian who worked in Tamil-language films. He acted in over 350 films. Career Chelladurai made his film debut with '' Thooral Ninnu Pochchu'' (1982). He is known for his comic sequences with actor Vadivelu. He became famous for his role in '' Shree'' (2002) as the owner of a wine shop named Prabha. In the scene, a thief named Marimuthu ( Vadivelu) breaks into the shop and calls the owner and asks when the shop will open. The owner tells him that the store is closed. Vadivelu drinks alcohol and repeatedly disturbs the shop owner during the night.
