Khalid Boutaïb (; born 24 April 1987) is a professional association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker for Ligue 2 club Pau FC, Pau. Born in France, he represented Morocco national football team, Morocco at international level. Early life Boutaïb was born in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, in the south of France, to Moroccan parents. He acquired French nationality law, French nationality on 16 January 2002, through the collective effect of his mother's naturalization. Club career Boutaïb started his career with spells at FC Bagnols Pont, Bagnols Pont and ES Uzès Pont du Gard, Uzès, where he was part of the team that won promotion to the Championnat National in the 2011–12 season before joining Istres in the summer of 2012. The Coupe de la Ligue (), known outside France as the French League Cup, was a knockout cup competition in French football organized by the Ligue de Football Professionnel. The tournament was established in 1993 and, unlike the Coupe de France, was only open to professional clubs in France which play in country's top three football divisions, though the third is not fully professional.
