Kevin Young (born 12 August 1961) is an English former Association football, footballer who played for Burnley F.C., Burnley, Torquay United F.C., Torquay United, Port Vale F.C., Port Vale, Bury F.C., Bury, FC Utrecht, Utrecht, and Murton A.F.C., Murton. He won Promotion and relegation, promotion out of the Football League Third Division, Third Division with Burnley in 1981–82 and out of the Football League Fourth Division, Fourth Division with Bury in 1984–85. Career Young began his career as an apprentice at Burnley F.C., Burnley, turning professional under Harry Potts in May 1979 after making his league debut in the 1978–79 Burnley F.C. season, 1978–79 season. He made 27 appearances in the 1979–80 Burnley F.C. season, 1979–80 season, as the "Clarets" were promotion and relegation, relegated out of the Football League Second Division, Second Division under the stewardship of Brian Miller (footballer), Brian Miller.
