Kevin O'Driscoll
Kevin O'Driscoll (born 10 November 1989) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for West Cork Junior Championship club Tadhg McCarthaigh's and formerly at inter-county level with the Cork senior football team. He usually lines out as a right wing-forward. O'Driscoll's brothers, Brian and Colm, as well as his father, Gene, have all played for Cork. County Cork ( ga, Contae Chorcaí) is the largest and the southernmost county of Ireland, named after the city of Cork, the state's second-largest city. It is in the province of Munster and the Southern Region. The 2011 National Football League was a competition run by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) between February and April 2011. It was contested by 33 teams, representing the 32 counties of Ireland plus London. Cork retained the title after a 0–21 to 2–14 win against Dublin. Tadhg Mac Cárthaigh's Gaelic Footballers
Tadhg (, ), (pronunciations given for the name ''Tadgh'' separately from those for the slang/pejorative ''Teague''.) commonly misspelled "Taig" or "Teague", is an Irish and Scottish Gaelic masculine name that was very common when the Goidelic languages predominated, to the extent that it is a synecdoche for Irish-speaking man. The name signifies "poet" or "philosopher". This was also the name of many Gaelic Irish kings from the 10th to the 16th centuries, particularly in Connacht and Munster. 2007 All-Ireland Minor Football Championship
The 2007 All-Ireland Minor Football Championship was the 76th staging of the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county Gaelic football tournament for boys under the age of 18. Roscommon entered the championship as defending champions, however, they were defeated by Laois in the All-Ireland quarter-final. On 16 September 2007, Galway won the championship following a 1-10 to 1-9 defeat of Derry in the All-Ireland final. Munster Minor Football Championship
The Munster Minor Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1928 for the youngest competitors (under-18) in the province of Munster in Ireland. It is currently sponsored by Electric Ireland and therefore officially known as the Electric Ireland Munster GAA Football Minor Championship. The series of games are played during the summer months with the Munster final currently being played on the second Sunday in July. The minor final provides the curtain-raiser to the senior final. The winning team is presented with the Tadhg Crowley Cup. The 2009 All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship was the 46th staging of the All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. Kerry entered the championship as defending champions, however, they were defeated by Cork in the Munster quarter-final. On 4 May 2009, Cork won the championship following a 1-13 to 2-9 defeat of Down in the All-Ireland final. This was their 11th All-Ireland title overall and their first in two championship seasons.
