Sycamore Township is one of the twelve townships of Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. The population was 19,563 as of the 2020 census. Name and history Statewide, the only other Sycamore Township is located in Wyandot County. Geography Located in the northern part of the county, the township has been cut into three "islands" by annexations. They have the following borders: Most of the township has been annexed by the various municipalities that the islands border. The central (or southeastern) "island" of Sycamore Township is occupied by the census-designated places (CDPs) of Dillonvale, Rossmoyne, Kenwood, and Concorde Hills, from west to east. The Kenwood Collection, formerly Kenwood Town Place, is a shopping center in Kenwood, Ohio, United States, between Interstate 71 and Kenwood Towne Centre. History Kenwood Towne Place was a $175 million development project funded by Bear Creek Capital, Neyer Holding Corporation and Dov Limited. Groundbreaking for Kenwood Towne Place happened on April 4, 2007. Kenwood Towne Place also includes a $33 million public parking garage funded by bonds underwritten by the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority. Kenwood Towne Centre is a shopping mall northeast of Cincinnati, at the corner of Montgomery and Kenwood Roads, adjacent to Interstate 71. Anchor stores are Dillard's, Macy's, and Nordstrom. History Originally known as Kenwood Plaza, the linear strip shopping center opened in 1956. At first, it was anchored only by Cincinnati-based McAlpin's. An H & S Pogue was in business by 1959.
