Kelsey Bing
Kelsey Bing (born October 1, 1997) is an American field hockey player. Personal life Kelsey Bing was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She started playing hockey in middle school. Bing is a former student-athlete at Stanford University where she studied mechanical engineering. Bing was named to the U.S Women's National Team following a successful career on the junior national team. Career Junior National Team In 2013, Bing was first named in a junior national team. She represented the United States Under 18 side at a qualifier for the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Montevideo, Uruguay. The team won a bronze medal. Bing represented the United States Under 21 side at the 2016 Pan-Am Junior Championship, a qualifier for the Junior World Cup. 2016 Women's Hockey Junior World Cup
The 2016 Women's Hockey Junior World Cup was the 8th edition of the Women's Hockey Junior World Cup. It was held from 24 November to 4 December 2016 in Santiago, Chile. Argentina won the tournament after defeating defending champions the Netherlands 4–2 in the final. This was the first time Argentina had won the Junior World Cup since the 1993 tournament in Terrassa, Spain. Australia won the third place match by defeating Spain 3–1 on a penalty shootout after a 1–1 draw. This was Australia's first Junior World Cup medal in 15 years. 2024 Women's FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers
The 2024 Women's FIH Olympic Qualifiers was the final stage of the qualification for the women's field hockey event at the 2024 Summer Olympics. It was held in Ranchi, India and Valencia, Spain between 13 and 20 January 2024. Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Spain and the United States qualified for the Olympics. Format Teams not qualifying from the continental qualification tournament were participating in this tournament according to the respective spots received by the FIH. The 16 teams were split into two eight-team tournaments. In each tournament the eight teams were divided into two four-team pools. After the round-robin stage the top two teams advanced to the semifinals. The top three teams of each tournament qualified for the Olympics.
