Keihin–Tōhoku Line
The is a railway line in Japan which connects the cities of Saitama, Saitama, Saitama, Kawaguchi, Saitama, Kawaguchi, Tokyo, Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Kawasaki, and Yokohama. It is part of the East Japan Railway Company (JR East) network. The line's name is derived from the characters for Tokyo (), Yokohama () and the Tōhoku Main Line (). The line runs parallel with the Tōkaidō Main Line between Yokohama Station, Yokohama and Tokyo Station, Tokyo and the Utsunomiya Line (part of the Tōhoku Main Line) except between Ueno Station, Ueno and Akabane Station, Akabane stations where the two lines are physically separate and thus alternate routes. The is a commuter and suburban electric multiple unit (EMU) train type developed by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) from the earlier E231 series and the E531 series design. The Kawagoe Line () is a railway line in Japan operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East), which connects the cities of Saitama, Kawagoe, and Hidaka in Saitama Prefecture. The Saikyō Line () is a Japanese railway line operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East). It connects Ōsaki Station in Shinagawa, Tokyo, and Ōmiya Station (Saitama), Ōmiya Station in Saitama Prefecture. The line's name is a portmanteau of the two areas the line connects: Saitama () and Tōkyō (). The Takasaki Line () is a Japanese railway line which connects Ōmiya Station in Saitama, Saitama Prefecture and Takasaki Station in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture. The Hokuriku Shinkansen () is a high-speed Shinkansen railway line connecting Tokyo with Tsuruga, Fukui, Tsuruga in the Hokuriku region of Japan.
