Jan Kašpar
Jan Kašpar (20 May 1883 – 2 March 1927) was a Czechs, Czech aviator, aircraft constructor, designer and engineer. He is considered an aviation pioneer in the Bohemia, Czech lands. Biography Kašpar was born at Pardubice. From his early years, he was an enthusiastic fan of cycling and automobilism. After finishing his studies at secondary school in Pardubice, he moved to Prague. In 1907, Kašpar graduated at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Later, he continued his studies in Germany where he concentrated on aircraft engine construction. Following that, he has worked as a builder in the Laurin & Klement factory. Together with his colleague, engineer Otto Hieronimus, Kašpar participated in construction of the first aircraft engine in the Czech lands. His passion for aviation forced him to leave the company where, together with his cousin Evžen Čihák, he devoted himself solely to aircraft construction. Adolf Kašpar
Adolf Kašpar (27 December 1877 in Bludov – 29 June 1934 in Železná Ruda), was a painter and illustrator from Bohemia and later Czechoslovakia. Life The son of a general wares dealer, Kašpar studied at Prague Academy under Maxmilián Pirner. His mentor was Hanus Schwaiger, a famous Czech painter and children's book illustrator. Schwaiger recommended Kašpar to the academy and exerted much influence over his life and art. In 1907, Kaspar married to Jitka Řepková in Velehrad. Works Kašpar perfected his pieces by collecting information from Czech literature. He became famous by illustrating '' The Grandmother'' (), a book by the Czech author Božena Němcová. His illustrations can also be found in other works by Alois Jirásek, Jan Neruda, Karel Václav Rais and František Ladislav Čelakovský. Karel Kašpar
Karel Boromejský Kašpar (16 May 1870 – 21 April 1941) was a Czech Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as Archbishop of Prague from 1931 until his death, and was elevated to the cardinalate in 1935. Biography Born in Mirošov, Karel Kašpar attended the seminary in Plzeň and the Pontifical Roman Athenaeum ''S. Apollinare'' in Rome. He was ordained to the priesthood on 25 February 1893, and then did pastoral work in Svojšín until 1895. He returned to Rome in 1896 where he lived at the priest college Santa Maria dell' Anima. In 1899, he began pastoral work in Prague and was made a canon of its cathedral chapter. On 8 March 1920 Kašpar was appointed Titular Bishop of ''Bethsaida'' and Auxiliary Bishop of Hradec Králové. He received his episcopal consecration on the following 11 April from Archbishop František Kordač. Lukáš Kašpar (born 23 September 1985) is a Czech former professional ice hockey player. He last played for HC Kometa Brno of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). He was originally drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Kašpar was the 22nd overall pick of the Sharks in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He came to North America in 2004 to play for the Ottawa 67's of the Ontario Hockey League, tallying 21 goals and 30 assists, making it to the Memorial Cup in his first and only year in Canadian Junior Hockey.
