Katja Husen (12 June 1976 – 28 June 2022) was a German biologist and politician. A member of Alliance 90/The Greens, she was speaker of the party's youth organisation, Green Youth, and served in the Hamburg Parliament from 2004 to 2008. She was CEO of the Centre for Molecular Neurobiology Hamburg. Early life and education Husen was born in Istanbul, Turkey, on 12 June 1976, where she mostly lived until age six because of her father's job. She attended schools in Kiel, including one exchange year in Portland, Oregon. Katja Mayer (born 4 January 1968 in Augsburg) is a former German triathlete and Ironman winner (1999). Biography Mayer studied sports science and mathematics at the universities of Munich and Augsburg. In 1996, she graduated in mathematics and sports. In 1998, she began as a license holder for triathlon and cycling. Since 2003, she has also been an assistant professor at the University of Augsburg and a lecturer at the medical training center for physiotherapy. Katja Koren Miklavec (born 6 August 1975) is a former Slovenian alpine skier. Born in Maribor, she won a bronze medal in the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. Katja Ebbinghaus (née Burgemeister, born 6 January 1948) is a former professional tennis player from Germany, active from 1969 to 1982. She reached five Grand Slam quarterfinals in singles, and a Grand Slam final in doubles, and played for West Germany in the Federation Cup in all but two years between 1970 and 1979.
