Katie Levick
Katie Ann Levick (born 18 July 1991) is an English cricketer who has played for Yorkshire, Yorkshire Diamonds, Northern Diamonds and Birmingham Phoenix. She is a leg spin bowler, and is the leading wicket taker in Women's County Championship cricket. Personal life Levick is from Sheffield. Levick studied at Sheffield Hallam University, graduating in 2012. She later worked as a teacher, and as of 2020, she was a marketing manager for Yorkshire CCC's coaching department. Career Levick played club cricket for Upper Haugh Cricket Club in Rotherham, alongside her brother. The club had no girls team, so she played on the boys team. At the age of 16, Levick debuted for Yorkshire Women. She has taken 190 wickets in the Women's County Championship, more than any other player. The 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy was the first edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, an English women's cricket domestic competition, which took place between 29 August and 27 September 2020. It featured eight teams in two groups, and had a final. The tournament was named after former England captain Rachael Heyhoe Flint, Baroness Heyhoe-Flint, who died in 2017. Economy Rate
In cricket, a bowler's economy rate is the average number of runs they have conceded per over bowled. In most circumstances, the lower the economy rate is, the better the bowler is performing. It is one of a number of statistics used to compare bowlers, commonly used alongside bowling average and strike rate to judge the overall performance of a bowler. Calculation The calculation is: \text = \frac Overs are conventionally represented as decimals from 0.1 to 0.6, so must be converted into true fractions before used in the calculation (e.g. "0.3 overs" represents three balls, which is half a six-ball over). Women's Cricket Super League
The Women's Cricket Super League (WCSL), known as the Kia Super League (KSL) for sponsorship reasons, was a semi-professional women's Twenty20 cricket competition in England and Wales operated by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). The competition featured six franchise teams, partnered with a variety of County cricket, county teams and boards and universities, and was envisaged as a means to bridge the gap between amateur domestic cricket and the increasingly professional international game. The England women's cricket team represents England and Wales in international women's cricket. The 2018 Women's Twenty20 Cup, known for sponsorship reasons as the 2018 Vitality Women's Twenty20 Cup was the 10th cricket Women's Twenty20 Cup tournament. It took place in June and July, with 36 teams taking part: 34 county teams plus Scotland and Wales. The 2018 Women's County One-Day Championship was the 22nd cricket Women's County Championship season. It ran from the beginning of May to the beginning of June and saw 33 county teams and teams representing Scotland, Wales and the Netherlands compete in a series of divisions. Sarah Louise Clarke (born 28 March 1982) is an English former cricketer who played as an all-rounder. She was a right-arm leg break bowler and right-handed batter. She appeared in six One Day Internationals for England She played county cricket for Surrey from 1999 to 2015. Clarke made her international debut against Scotland in August 2001 and scored 66 * batting at number seven. She and Nicky Shaw shared a stand of 85*, which was at the time a record eighth wicket partnership in Women's One Day Internationals until it was broken by Nilakshi de Silva and Oshadi Ranasinghe for Sri Lanka against England in 2019. In cricket, a player's bowling average is the number of runs they have conceded per wicket taken. The lower the bowling average is, the better the bowler is performing. It is one of a number of statistics used to compare bowlers, commonly used alongside the economy rate and the strike rate to judge the overall performance of a bowler.
