Katharina Dröge
Katharina Dröge (born 16 September 1984) is a German economist and politician of Alliance 90/The Greens who has been serving as co-chair of the Green Party’s parliamentary group in the Bundestag since 2021, alongside Britta Haßelmann. She previously served as one of the group’s managers () from 2018 to 2021. She has been a member of the Bundestag since 2013. Education and early career On a scholarship of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, Dröge studied economics at the University of Cologne from 2004 to 2010. From 2010 until 2013, Dröge worked at the State Ministry of Climate Change, Environment, Agriculture and Consumer Protection of North Rhine-Westphalia. Alliance 90/The Greens
Alliance 90/The Greens (, ), often simply referred to as Greens (, ), is a Green (politics), green political party in Germany. It was formed in 1993 by the merger of the Greens (formed in West Germany in 1980) and Alliance 90 (formed in East Germany in 1990). The Greens had itself merged with the East German Green Party after German reunification in 1990. Since November 2024, Franziska Brantner and Felix Banaszak have been co-leaders of the party. Terre des Femmes (French, translation: Women's Earth) is a German non-profit-organisation committed to human rights for girls and women.
