Kateryna Denysenko (born 7 March 1994) is a Ukrainian Paralympic swimmer. She represented Ukraine at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. Para swimming is an adaptation of the sport of swimming for athletes with disabilities. Para swimmers compete at the Summer Paralympic Games and at other sports competitions throughout the world. The sport is governed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). Both men and women compete in para swimming, racing against competitors of their own gender. The International Paralympic Committee (IPC; ) is an international non-profit organisation and the global governing body for the Paralympic Movement. The IPC organizes the Paralympic Games and functions as the international federation for nine sports. Founded on 22 September 1989 in Düsseldorf, then part of West Germany, its mission is to "enable Paralympic athletes to achieve sporting excellence and inspire and excite the world".
