Katalin Szilágyi (born 16 November 1965 in Nyíregyháza) is a Hungarian former handball player who won the bronze medal with the Hungarian team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. She played all five matches and scored 13 goals. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team.
