Karolína Kosinová (born 21 May 1998) is a Czech ice hockey player for SDE Hockey of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) and member of the Czech national ice hockey team, She also plays elite ball hockey and is a member of the Czech national ball hockey team. International ice hockey As a junior player with the Czech national under-18 team, she participated in the IIHF U18 Women's World Championships in 2015 and 2016. Kosinová made her debut with the senior national team at the IIHF Women's World Championship in 2019, one of just six players from the Czech Women's Extraliga to be selected. In January 2023, Kosinová represented Czechia in the women’s ice hockey tournament at the 2023 Winter World University Games. She contributed a goal across seven games to help the Czech team secure a bronze medal victory. Beroun

IIHF Women's World Championship
The IIHF Women's World Championship is the premier international women's tournament in ice hockey. It is governed by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). The official world competition was first held in 1990, with four more championships held in the 90s. From 1989 to 1996, and in years that there was no world tournament held, there were European Championships and in 1995 and 1996 a Pacific Rim Championship. From the first Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Tournament in 1998 onward, the Olympic tournament was played instead of the IIHF Championships. 2015 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship
The 2015 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship was the eighth IIHF U18 Women's World Championship. The top division tournament was played in Buffalo, United States, from 5 to 12 January 2015. Twenty nations played in three levels, with promotion and relegation for the top and bottom teams at each level. The United States won their fourth title defeating Canada in overtime in the gold medal game, with Jincy Roese scoring on the power play. This was the eighth consecutive final between the two nations, evening their all-time records.
