Karoliina Rantamäki
Karoliina Stina Margaretha Rantamäki (born 23 February 1978) is a Finnish ice hockey forward. She plays in the Auroraliiga with Kiekko-Espoo. Rantamäki holds the all-time career record for games played with the Finnish women's national ice hockey team, having played in 256 top level international matches. She represented Finland at five Olympic Games and won bronze medals in the women's ice hockey tournaments in 1998 and 2010. She also represented Finland at thirteen IIHF World Women's Championships and earned eight World Championship bronze medals (1997, 1999, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2015). Rantamäki has played with national championship winning teams in both the in Finland and the Zhenskaya Hockey League (ZhHL) in Russia and its predecessor, the Russian Women's Hockey League. The Zhenskaya Hockey League or ZhHL (), officially called the Women's Hockey League (WHL), is a professional ice hockey league in Russia, currently comprising eight teams. The women's tournament in ice hockey at the 2010 Winter Olympics was held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from February 13 to 25. Eight teams competed, seeded into two groups. The men's tournament was introduced at the 1920 Summer Olympics and was transferred permanently to the Winter Olympic Games program in 1924, in France.
