Karl Oskar Fjørtoft
Karl Oskar Fjørtoft (born 26 July 1975) is a Norwegian football coach and former player. Club career As an active player, Fjørtoft played for Hødd, Rosenborg BK, Molde FK, Swedish team Hammarby IF, Aalesund and Herd. After the 2008 season, his contract with Aalesund was not renewed. In late December he was signed by SK Herd together with former teammate Lasse Olsen. International career Fjørtoft played a total of 37 games and scored four goals for Norway at international youth level. He played 2 games for Norway's under-23 team. Fjørtoft was capped once for the senior team and made his only appearance on 22 January 2004 in Norway's 3–0 win over Sweden in an international friendly played in Hong Kong. Coaching career Fjørtoft was head coach at former Toppserien team Fortuna Ålesund in 2009. Fjørtoft took over after the team finished the 2009 season in 12th, the bottom position, and were relegated. Jan Åge Fjørtoft
Jan Åge Fjørtoft (born 10 January 1967) is a Norwegian former professional footballer. A powerful centre forward with goalscoring ability, he played professionally in Norway, Austria, England and Germany. In total, he scored 308 goals in 614 games in these four countries. He made 71 appearances for the Norwegian National Team, captaining the squad in 15 of them, and scored 20 goals for the Norway national team. A pinnacle moment in his national team career was the qualification and participation in the 1994 World Cup held in the US. This marked Norway's return to the World Cup stage for the first time since 1938. His nickname was ''Fjøra'' (lit. "The Feather"). Rune Ulvestad (born 28 March 1957) is a Norwegian football coach and former player. He played as a forward for Molde from 1978 to 1986. After his active career, Ulvestad has been coaching Herd. He is the father of the footballers Pål Erik, Fredrik and Dan Peter Ulvestad. Career After playing for Brattvåg IL, Ulvestad joined Molde FK ahead of the 1978-season, and was Molde's top goalscorer in 1981 and 1985. Ulvestad scored Molde's first goal in the final of the 1982 Norwegian Cup, a game Molde lost 2–3 against Brann. Trond Fredriksen (born 21 May 1977) is a football coach and former Norwegian footballer. He is a former football midfielder and former manager for Aalesunds FK. Manager career Ahead of the 2015 season, Fredriksen became assistant manager to the new Aalesund manager Harald Aabrekk. Aabrekk was sacked only a month into the league, and Fredriksen took over with Karl Oskar Fjørtoft as his assistant. Fredriksen managed Aalesund until being relegated from the 2017 Eliteserien, but was sacked after the 2017 season. In August 2018 he was hired as coach developer in city minnows Aksla IL. Ahead of the 2019 season he moved to Eastern Norway as the new manager of Ull/Kisa. He was sacked here after the 2020 season. 2009 Toppserien
The 2009 Toppserien was the 26th season of top-tier women's football in Norway. A total of twelve teams contested the league, consisting of ten who competed in the previous season and two promoted from the 1. divisjon. Running from 13 April to 31 October 2009, it was won by Røa for the third consecutive year. As winners, Røa qualified for the Round of 32 of the 2010–11 UEFA Women's Champions League as the sole representative from Norway. Because Norway had dropped to ninth place in the UEFA coefficient rankings for 2010–11, the runners-up in the Toppserien could no longer enter the qualifying round of the Champions League, as had been the case in the previous season. AaFK Fortuna (formerly known as FK Fortuna Ålesund) is a Norway, Norwegian women's football (soccer), women's football club from Ålesund that currently competes in 1. divisjon (women), 1. divisjon, the second tier of Women's football in Norway, Norwegian football. The Toppserien is the top level of women's association football in Norway. It was founded in 1984. History Women's league football was introduced on a county basis in 1977. These leagues acted as qualification for the regional (South) league in 1979. Regional leagues were in operation until the formation of the First Division 1984 1. divisjon (women), 1984, when the league was divided into three regions, Group Østlandet, Eastern-Norway (''Østlandet''), Group Vestlandet, Western-Norway (''Vestlandet''), and Group Trøndelag, Mid-Norway (''Trøndelag'').
