Karina Anaís Rodríguez (born 2 March 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Liga MX Femenil side Club América. Born in the United States, she represents Mexico at international level. Early life Rodríguez was born and raised in Torrance, California. She attended Torrance High School and the University of California, Los Angeles. International career Rodríguez represented the United States at the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup and the 2018 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship. She later switched allegiance to Mexico and made her senior debut on 24 February 2021 in a 0–0 friendly home draw against Costa Rica. Rodríguez was selected to represent Mexico at the 2023 Pan American Games held in Santiago, Chile, where the Mexican squad went undefeated to won the gold medal for the first time in their history at the Pan American Games, defeating Chile 1–0.
