Karen Cope
Karen Cope Charles (born November 6, 1985, in El Limón) is a beach volleyball and volleyball player from Costa Rica who played the 2006 and 2010 FIVB indoor World Championships and the 2015 World Championships and the 2016 Summer Olympics in beach volleyball. Personal and early life Cope is tall , born as Karen Cope Charles on June 11, 1985, in Limón, Limón Province, Costa Rica. She is the daughter of Stwart Cope a former basketball player, and Brenda Charles Clark, now-deceased, who is former sports educator and national record holder in track and field. She have an older sister named Karen and a little brother named Carlton. As an Afro-Costa Rican, she expressed along with boxer Hanna Gabriel pride in her roots, backing and celebrating the ''Day of the Black Person and Afro-Costa Rican Culture''. Limón
Limón (), also known as Puerto Limón, is the capital city of both the province and canton of the same name. The CEV Women's Challenge Cup, formerly (from 1980 to 2007) known as CEV Women's Cup is the third official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. It is organized by the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) and was created as in 1980 to allow more clubs to participate in European competitions. 2007 Pan American Games
The 2007 Pan American Games, officially known as the XV Pan American Games () and commonly known as Rio 2007, were a major Americas, continental multi-sport event that took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from July 13 to 29, 2007. A total of 5,633 athletes from 42 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) competed in 332 events in 34 sports and in 47 disciplines. Chinese Taipei Women's National Volleyball Team
The Chinese Taipei women's national volleyball team is the women's national volleyball team of Republic of China (Taiwan). Hanna Gabriel
Hanna Gabriels Valle (born 14 January 1983) is a Costa Rican professional boxer. She has held world championships in four weight classes, having held the WBA female light middleweight title since 2016; the WBA female light heavyweight and WBC female heavyweight titles since April 2021; the WBO welterweight title in 2009; and the WBO light middleweight title twice between 2010 and 2018.
