Karel Řepa
Karel Řepa (23 October 1895 – 2 March 1963) was a Czechoslovak architect. Life and career Born in Nový Ples, a pupil of Jože Plečnik, Řepa graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. A functionalist, after working in the Prague studio of , in the mid-1920s he moved to Pardubice Pardubice (; ) is a city in the Czech Republic. It has about 92,000 inhabitants. It is the capital city of the Pardubice Region and lies on the Elbe River. The historic centre is well preserved and is protected as an Cultural monument (Czech Repub ..., where he realized his most important works, notably the Pardubice Railway Station, the Industrial Museum and the Masarykův football stadium. Czech Radio
Czech Radio (, ČRo) is the public radio broadcaster of the Czech Republic operating continuously since 1923. It is the oldest national radio broadcaster in continental Europe and the second-oldest in Europe after the BBC. Miroslav Řepa (24 February 1930 – 7 June 2023) was a Czech architect. Life and career Born in Pardubice, the son of the architect Karel Řepa, he earned a degree architecture from the Charles University, and then graduated from the Prague Academy of Fine Arts. His first project was the Zlín City Theatre. Among his major works, there were the restoration of the East Bohemian Theatre in Pardubice, and the renovation of the Prague National Theatre. CFIG Arena is a association football, football stadium in Pardubice, Czech Republic. It is the home stadium of FK Pardubice. It has a capacity of 4,620 seats. History The stadium was built in 1930–1931. In May 1931 stadium was opened by the first Czechoslovak president Tomáš Masaryk, Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk. Formerly known as ''Letní stadion'', it was a multi-purpose stadium until 1968, then it served only for football and American football.
