Karel JarolÃm
Karel JarolÃm (born 23 August 1956) is a Czech football coach and former player. As a player, he played as a midfielder, making 275 appearances in the Czechoslovak First League. and representing the Czechoslovakia national team internationally. Career JarolÃm has been coach of Slavia Prague three times in the 2000–01 Czech First League and from 2005 to 2010, until he returned for a few matches afterwards. JarolÃm was coach of Jeddah-based Al-Ahli Saudi Professional League. Al-Ahli were runners-up in 2012 AFC Champions League final. In May 2013, he signed with Al Wahda for a season. He returned to the Czech Republic in January 2014, signing with FK Mladá Boleslav. On 15 July 2016, JarolÃm was hired as manager of Czech Republic national team. He was sacked on 11 September 2018 after a 5–1 defeat against Russia a day earlier, which was then the highest defeat in the history of the Czech Republic national team. Čáslav
Čáslav (; ) is a town in Kutná Hora District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 11,000 inhabitants. The Russia national football team () represents Russia in men's international football. It is controlled by the Russian Football Union (, ), the governing body for football in Russia. ''DenÃk'' is a regional daily newspaper in the Czech Republic. History Originally owned by German publishing company Verlagsgruppe Passau (VGP), ''DenÃk'' has been owned by Penta Investments since 2015. VGP has a monopoly on the Czech regional press. In September 2006, regional newspapers across the Czech Republic were rebranded to ''DenÃk'' with a regional adjective appended, including ''Pražský denÃk'' (). Czechoslovak First League
The Czechoslovak First League (, ) was the premier football (soccer), football league in the Czechoslovakia from 1925 to 1993, with the exception of World War II. Czechoslovakia was occupied by German forces who formed Gauliga Sudetenland and Gauliga Böhmen und Mähren leagues on occupied territories. Until the 1934-35 season, no teams from Slovakia participated in the league. Czechs were allowed to run their own league in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, while Slovaks were granted their own independent Slovak State and created their own league.
