Kansas State Fair
Kansas State Fair is a state fair held annually in Hutchinson, Kansas, United States. It starts the Friday following Labor Day in September, and lasts for 10 days. This fair is the largest single event in the state and attracts approximately 350,000 people annually. The fairgrounds is centered at 23rd Ave between Main and Plum Street in Hutchinson, and consists of over 70 buildings on . It has full-time year-round staff. The 2025 fair will be held from September 5 to 14. Hutchinson is the largest city in and the county seat of Reno County, Kansas, Reno County, Kansas, United States. The city is located on the Arkansas River. A grandstand is a normally permanent structure for seating spectators, typically at sports stadiums and including both auto racing and horse racing. Strataca
Strataca is a salt mine museum in Hutchinson, Kansas, United States, located on the northwest corner of Yoder Road and Avenue G. It was previously known as the Kansas Underground Salt Museum. The museum is built within one of the world's largest deposits of rock salt, formed 275 million years ago, and provides the opportunity to go beneath the Earth’s surface. Cosmosphere is an international science education center and space museum in Hutchinson, Kansas, United States, located on the northeast corner of Plum Street and 11th Avenue, next to the Hutchinson Community College. It was previously known as the Kansas Cosmosphere. The museum houses over 13,000 spaceflight artifacts—the largest combined collection of US and Russian spaceflight artifacts in the world, and is home to various space educational programs. Truck and tractor pulling, also known as power pulling, is a form of a motorsport competition in which antique or modified tractors pull a heavy drag or sled along an , track, with the winner being the tractor that pulls the drag the farthest.
