Kampala–Mityana Road
The Kampala–Mityana Road is a road in the Central Region of Uganda, connecting the capital city of Kampala to the town of Mityana in Mityana District. Location The road begins in the Busega neighborhood, in Lubaga Division, northwestern Kampala. It continues through Buloba, Bujuuko, and Zigoti, to end at Masaka, a distance of approximately . Overview Prior to 2009, the road was gravel surfaced, in poor condition. As far back as 2003, the government of Uganda planned to upgrade the road surface. Upgrade to bitumen surface In 2009, work to upgrade the road surface to grade II bitumen class, with shoulders, culverts and drainage channels. Busega
Busega is a neighborhood within Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda. Location Busega is situated in Lubaga Division, Rubaga Division, one of the five administrative divisions of Kampala. Busega is bordered by unincorporated Wakiso District to the north, Namungoona to the northeast, Lungujja to the east, Nateete to the south, and Buloba to the west. Spencon Services Ltd. was a construction company headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. History The company was established by Jitendra Chhotabhai Patel. In September 1979 incorporation occurred. Masaka is a city in the Central Region, Uganda, Buganda Region in Uganda, west of Lake Victoria. The city is the headquarters of Masaka District.
