Kamel Ajlouni
Kamel Mohammed Saleh Ajlouni, M.D. (, born 1943 in Sariyyeh, Jordan) is a physician in the field of endocrinology. He earned a doctor of medicine degree from the Heidelberg University School of Medicine in 1967. Ajlouni became professor of endocrinology in the Department of Internal medicine at the University of Jordan in 1985. Professor Ajlouni has written more than 120 professional papers in the field of endocrinology. In recognition of his contributions, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists presented him with the International Clinician Award in 2008. He received Hamdan Award for honoring distinguished personalities from the Arab World from Hamdan Medical Award in 2010. Ajlouni has worked in numerous posts, mainly as minister of health from 1984 to 1985. Florence Jaukae Kamel
Florence Jaukae Kamel is a Papua New Guinea artist and designer, particularly known for her work in the traditional medium of bilum, plant fibres woven into yarn, and then looped or crocheted to make bags or dresses and other garments. Kamel is known locally as the "Bilum Meri". Kamel is also "an outspoken advocate for women's rights". Early life Kamel was taught how to make bilum by her grandmother. Career Kamel was elected to be a local government councillor in 2002. Kamel is one of the founders of Jaukae Bilum Products. She is the managing director of the Goroka Bilum Weavers Cooperative. In 2011, Kamel's bilum work was "recognised as an important statement of gender empowerment" by the Australian Museum, who acquired examples of it for their Pacific Collections. Her work has also appeared in the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art exhibition ''Threads Contemporary Textiles and the Social Fabric''. Fathi Kamel
Fathi Kameel Matar Marzouq (; born 23 May 1955) is a Kuwaiti former footballer who played in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He helped Kuwait qualify to the World Cup in 1982 by scoring a goal against New Zealand. Fathi also helped Kuwait win the Asian Cup in 1980. He was joint top-scorer at the 1976 AFC Asian Cup with three goals.
