Kamara, Arcadia
Kamara () is a mountain village and a community in the municipal unit of Falaisia, in the southwest of Arcadia, Greece. It is situated on a mountain slope, 5 km east of Tourkolekas, 6 km west of Longanikos, 7 km northwest of Dyrrachio and 18 km south of Megalopoli. The community includes the village Kampochori. The Peloponnese Region (, ) is a region in southern Greece. It borders Western Greece to the north and Attica to the north-east. The region has an area of about . It covers most of the Peloponnese peninsula, except for the northwestern subregions of Achaea and Elis which belong to Western Greece and a small portion of the Argolid peninsula that is part of Attica. Megalopoli () is a town in the southwestern part of the regional unit of Arcadia (regional unit), Arcadia, southern Greece. It is located in the same site as ancient Megalopolis ( literally ''large/great city''). When it was founded in 371 BCE, it was the first large urbanization in Arcadia (region), rustic Arcadia. Its theatre had a capacity of 20,000 visitors, making it one of the largest ancient Greek theatres. Today Megalopoli has several schools, shops, churches, hotels and other services. Falaisia
Falaisia (, before 1918: Μπούρα - ''Boura'') is a village and a former municipality in southwestern Arcadia, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Megalopoli, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 274.926 km2. The seat of the municipality was in Leontari, 5 km northwest of the village Falaisia. The municipal unit Falaisia is located in the northern foothills of the Taygetus mountains, south of Megalopoli and north of Kalamata. Tourkolekas () is a settlement in the municipal unit of Falaisia, southwest Arcadia, Greece. It is situated in the mountains near the border with Messenia, at about 800 m elevation. It is 5 km west of Kamara, 6 km northeast of Pefko (Messenia), 8 km southwest of Leontari and 17 km south of Megalopoli. Every August, Tourkolekas celebrates its Nikitareia festival in honour of Nikitaras, a Greek revolutionary leader. There is a marble statue of Nikitaras in the village. Longanikos
Longanikos (, also transliterated as ''Logkanikos'') is a traditional Greek village, located in Laconia, in the ancient and historical Peloponnese area of southern Greece. It is also referred to sometimes in English as "Logganiko(s)" or "Longanico(s)". It is about 30 kilometers north of Sparta, the capital city of Lakonia, and is also very close to the cities of Kalamata, Tripolis and Megalopolis. It rests on the eastern slope of Mount Taigetos. The population of Longanikos is 404 inhabitants according to the 2021 census. This figure includes the population of the surrounding smaller villages Vergadeika, Kyparrissi, Giakoumaiika, and Kotitsa.
