Kalilah Enríquez
Kalilah Antonette Enríquez (married name Reynolds, born February 11, 1983) is a Belizean journalist and poet. She currently resides in Kingston, Jamaica, where she co-hosts the popular current affairs radio programmeNationwide This Morning on Nationwide News Network. Career From 2010 to 2011, she worked as a broadcast journalist aCVM TVin Jamaica, where she became known for the infamousduppy story about a Spanish Town boy seemingly haunted by a ghost, as well aher coverage of the Jamaican security forces incursion into Tivoli Gardensin search of reputed drug lord Christopher "Dudus" Coke. In February 2012, CVM TV aired a documentary produced by Enriquez, entitledMan a Gallis: Jamaican Dancehall and HIV/AIDS, which received critical acclaim. Belize City, Belize
Belize City is the largest city in Belize. It was once the capital of the former British Honduras. According to the 2022 census, Belize City has a population of 63,999 people. It is at the mouth of the Haulover Creek, which is a distributary of the Belize River. The Belize River empties into the Caribbean Sea from Belize City on the Philip Goldson Highway on the coast of the Caribbean. The city is the country's principal port and its financial and industrial hub. Cruise ships drop anchor outside the port and are tendered by local citizens. The city was almost entirely destroyed in October 1961 when Hurricane Hattie swept ashore. It was the capital of British Honduras (as Belize was then named) until the government was moved to the new capital of Belmopan in 1970. The term "the people" refers to the public or common mass of people of a polity. As such it is a concept of human rights law, international law as well as constitutional law, particularly used for claims of popular sovereignty.
