Kajsa Arwefjäll (born 20 June 2000) is a Sweden, Swedish professional golfer on the Ladies European Tour and former world champion Skipping rope, rope skipper. She was the 2024 LET Access Series Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year winner. Early life and family Arwefjäll was born in Tranås in 2000 and moved with her family to Höllviken in 2009, where she grew up playing at Ljunghusen Golf Club. Raised in an athletic family, her mother is an accomplished skier and her father, a former professional golfer, is her coach. Her brother Kasper has played ice-hockey with the Malmö Redhawks. She is a former world champion Skipping rope, rope skipper with 21 national and international medals. Andrea Grimberg Lignell (born 28 August 2000) is a Swedish professional golfer. As an amateur, she finished 3rd at the 2023 Augusta National Women's Amateur and was part of the Ole Miss team that won the 2021 NCAA Championship. Amateur career Lignell grew up in Gothenburg. The Women's Amateur Championship, previously known as the Ladies' British Open Amateur Championship, was founded in 1893 by the Ladies' Golf Union. It is organised by The R&A, which merged with the Ladies' Golf Union in 2017. Sofie Bringner
Sofie Bringner (born 14 July 1997) is a Swedish professional golfer. She won the 2021 Swedish Matchplay Championship and finished fifth in the 2021 LET Access Series rankings to secure Ladies European Tour membership for 2022. Career Bringner grew up in Henån, Bohuslän and started competing in golf at age 12. In 2015, she had a successful season and won four junior tournaments, which helped her qualify for the Annika Invitational Europe. She graduated from Sinclairgymnasiet in Uddevalla in 2016 and switched clubs from her local Orust Golf Club to train at Hills Golf Club in Gothenburg, deciding to forego the U.S. college path. Swedish Junior Strokeplay Championship
The Swedish Junior Strokeplay Championship is a national golf tournament in Sweden for golfers under the age of 22, contested for both men and women. Known also as the JSM Slag, it has been organized by the Swedish Golf Federation since 1977 when JSM Match, the Swedish Junior Matchplay Championship contested since 1939, switched from match play to stroke play format. The 2022 Arnold Palmer Cup was a team golf competition to be held from 1–3 July 2022 at Golf Club de Genève, Vandœuvres, Switzerland. It was the 26th time the event had been contested and the fifth under the new format in which women golfers play in addition to men, and the United States plays an international team. The international team won the match 33–27. Format The contest was played over three days. On Friday, there were 12 mixed four-ball matches. On Saturday there were 24 foursomes matches, 12 in the morning, six all-women matches and six all-men matches, and 12 mixed matches in the afternoon. 24 singles matches were played on Sunday. NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships
The NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship, played in the month of May, is the annual competition in women's collegiate golf for individuals and teams from universities in Division I. Golf was one of twelve women's sports added to the NCAA championship program for the 1981-82 school year. From its inception through 2014, it was a stroke play team competition with an additional individual award. Beginning in 2015, after 72 holes of stroke play, the top eight teams play in single-elimination match play to determine the team champion.
