Kaina Martinez
Kaina Darina Martinez (born 20 February 1986) is a Belizean athlete. She competed in 100 metres at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. In 2017, she was named one of nine finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award. Martinez was born in the Garifuna village of Seine Bight, Stann Creek District Stann Creek District is a district in the south east region of Belize. Seine Bight
Seine Bight is a village on the Placencia Peninsula located in the Stann Creek District of Belize. It is located 2 and a half miles south of Maya Beach Village and North of the village of Placencia. This small village has roughly 1,000 inhabitants, mostly Garifuna people who subsist on fishing, hunting, and homegrown vegetables. 2007 NACAC Championships
The 2007 North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships was a regional track and field competition held at the Flor Blanca National Stadium in San Salvador, El Salvador, from July 13–15, 2007. It was the inaugural edition of a senior track and field championship for the North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association, NACAC region. A total of forty-three events were contested, 22 by male and 21 by female athletes. The championships served as preparation for the Athletics at the 2007 Pan American Games, 2007 Pan American Games, held later that month, for many of the senior athletes. Canada and Cuba, two of the region's strongest countries in the sport, did not send a delegation to participate. Coatzacoalcos () is a major port city in the southern part of the Mexican state of Veracruz, mostly on the western side of the Coatzacoalcos River estuary, on the Bay of Campeche, on the southern Gulf of Mexico coast. 2004 Central American And Caribbean Junior Championships In Athletics
The 16th Central American and Caribbean Junior Championships were held in the Estadio Rafael Hernández Ochoa in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico, between 25–27 June 2004. The games were originally planned to be held in San Salvador, El Salvador. However, they were relocated to the state of Veracruz in Mexico in early 2004. Both cities of Xalapa and Coatzacoalcos were applicants. A discussion of the results is given.
