Skeid is a Norway, Norwegian association football, football club from Oslo that currently plays in Norwegian First Division, 1. divisjon the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Its current home field is Nordre Åsen, after the club stopped playing at Bislett stadion#Football, Bislett after the 2012 season. Norway National B Football Team
The Norway national football B team was a secondary national association football team under the control of the Football Association of Norway. The team was formed in 1929 and for the next decade played an annual match against Sweden B. From 1946 to 1966 the team started playing more matches, normally an annual match each against Denmark B, Finland B and Sweden B. The team went on a hiatus which has since only been broken twice, once in 1989 and for three matches in 2002. History Norway B's first match was a 3–1 loss against Sweden B in Stockholm on 29 September 1929, which was also the debut game for Sweden B. The two teams would continue to play each other annually until 1939. After a hiatus during the Second World War, Norway B was revived on 26 August 1945 with a 5–1 loss against Denmark B in Aarhus. Skeid is a Norwegian alliance sports club from Nordre Åsen, Oslo. It has sections for association football (one for elite and one for grassroots football), Nordic skiing and bandy. General history The club was founded as ''IK Skeid'' on 5 December 1925. It was a merger between the two clubs ''Kristiania BK'' (founded 1 January 1915 as a merger of ''Njord'' and ''Oslo FK'') and ''SFK Frem'' (nicknamed ''Frem 14'', founded 9 April 1914 as a merger of ''Bjølsen FK'' and footballers in Thorshaug IF).
