KWIC (99.3 MHz) is an American FM radio station broadcasting a classic hits format. Licensed to Topeka, Kansas, U.S., the station is currently owned by Cumulus Media. Programming Beginning with the 2014-15 season, KWIC, along with KMAJ (AM) (1440), will be home to the Kansas Jayhawks football and basketball (men/ women's) teams. Topeka ( ) is the capital city of the U.S. state of Kansas and the county seat of Shawnee County. WIBW (580 Hertz, kHz) is a commercial radio, commercial AM radio, AM radio station in Topeka, Kansas. It is owned by Alpha Media and airs a talk radio, talk and sports radio, sports radio format. The radio studio, studios and offices are on SW Executive Drive in Topeka. The transmitter is off NW Landon Road in Silver Lake, Kansas, Silver Lake. WIBW is simulcast on 250 watt FM translator station K285GL at 104.9 Hertz, MHz. Signal WIBW transmits at 5,000 watts around the clock. A single omni-directional antenna, non-directional tower is used during the day. Kansas Jayhawks Women's Basketball
The Kansas Jayhawks women's basketball team represents the University of Kansas and competes in the Big 12 Conference of NCAA Division I. The Jayhawks are coached by Brandon Schneider.
