Kam Sheung Road () is an MTR station on the , located between Pat Heung and Kam Tin in Hong Kong. It is situated between Tsuen Wan West and Yuen Long stations. Kam Sheung Road was the location for the KCR West Rail's opening ceremony. History On 20 December 2003, Kam Sheung Road station opened to the public along with other KCR West Rail stations. On 27 June 2021, the officially merged with the (which was already extended into the ''Tuen Ma line Phase 1'' at the time) in East Kowloon to form the new , as part of the Shatin to Central link project. Kendall Square Research (KSR) was a supercomputer company headquartered originally in Kendall Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1986, near Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). It was co-founded by Steven Frank and Henry Burkhardt III, who had formerly helped found Data General and Encore Computer and was one of the original team that designed the PDP-8. The Teletype Corporation, a part of AT&T Corporation, American Telephone and Telegraph Company's Western Electric manufacturing arm since 1930, came into being in 1928 when the Morkrum-Kleinschmidt Company changed its name to the name of its trademark equipment. Teletype was responsible for the research, development and manufacture of data and record communications equipment, but it is primarily remembered for the manufacture of electromechanical teleprinters. Because of the nature of its business, as stated in the corporate charter, Teletype Corporation was allowed a unique mode of operation within Western Electric. It was organized as a separate entity, and contained all the elements necessary for a separate corporation. Scouting in Maine dates back to the creation of the Katahdin Area Council in 1920 and has continued prominently to the present day. Scouting America History Boy Scouting started early in Maine, with two local councils in operation by February 1915. The first second-class council was in operation by 1916, and by 1917, three second-class councils existed in Auburn, Bath, and Saco. South Portland Council began in 1918, as did Waterville Council, but that council apparently only existed for a year. The King Shaka Regiment (formerly the Durban Regiment) is a reserve motorised infantry battalion of the South African Army. History Origin Established in 1923 as the Durban Volunteer Guides, the unit was disbanded after World War Two but reformed on paper in 1959 as an armoured infantry unit. Durban Regiment was officially proclaimed in 1959 and the first posting to the unit was on 1 January 1960 with Colonel M.B. Williams as its first officer commanding. Internal operations The Regiment's first mobilisations were on 31 March 1960 to combat unrest in Natal's Cato Manor area.
