KOSY-FM (95.7 MHz) is a radio station licensed to Anamosa, Iowa, and serving the Cedar Rapids metropolitan area. It airs a sports radio format and is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. The station's studios are located within iHeartMedia's Cedar Rapids cluster at Broadcast Park on the city's northeast side, next to dual CBS/Fox affiliate KGAN. KOSY-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 18,000 watts. The transmitter is on Radio Road near Iowa Highway 13 in Marion. History The station signed on the air at 10 a.m. on February 14, 2008. Its call sign was KKSY and it aired a country music format, branded as "Kiss Country 95.7". Clear Channel Communications began simulcasting KKSY's programming on WMT-FM (96.5 FM) at 9 a.m. on December 27, 2011. The country format moved to 96.5 FM exclusively on January 2, 2012 (with the KKSY-FM call letters following a few weeks later), and 95.7 FM began simulcasting the news/talk programming of sister station WMT, eventually changing call ...

KKSY-FM (96.5 MHz "Kiss Country") is a commercial FM radio station in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It broadcasts a country music radio format and is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. KKSY carries the syndicated ''Bobby Bones Show'' in morning drive time and '' After Midnite with Granger Smith'' overnight. KKSY-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, the maximum for most FM stations. The transmitter tower and studios are on Old Marion Road and Collins Road NE ( Iowa Highway 100) in Cedar Rapids, co-located with the tower for KGAN channel 2. WMT (600 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It broadcasts a news/talk radio format and is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. The studios are co-located with former sister station KGAN-TV channel 2, near the intersection of Collins Road ( Iowa Highway 100) and Old Marion Road NE in Cedar Rapids, in a building known as "Broadcast Park". By day, WMT is powered at 5,000 watts non-directional. At night, to protect other stations on 600 AM from interference, WMT uses a directional antenna with a three-tower array. Its transmitter site is on Radio Road near Marion. WMT is a Class B station broadcasting on a Regional AM frequency. History WMT is the oldest radio station in Cedar Rapids.
