KAlgebra
KAlgebra is a mathematical graph calculator included in the KDE education package. While it is based on the MathML content markup language, knowledge of MathML is not required for use. The calculator includes numerical, logical, symbolic, and analytical functions, and can plot the results onto a 2D or 3D graph. KAlgebra is Free software, free and open source software, licensed under the GNU General Public License, GPL-2.0-or-later license. KAlgebra has been mentioned by various media sources as free / open source educational programs. User interface and syntax KAlgebra uses an intuitive algebraic syntax, similar to those used on modern graphing calculators. KDE Applications
The KDE Gear is a set of applications and supporting libraries that are developed by the KDE community, primarily used on Linux-based operating systems but mostly multiplatform, and released on a common release schedule. The bundle is composed of over 200 applications. Examples of prominent applications in the bundle include the file manager Dolphin, document viewer Okular, text editor Kate, archiving tool Ark and terminal emulator Konsole. Previously the KDE Applications Bundle was part of the KDE Software Compilation. Extragear Software that is not part of the official KDE Applications bundle can be found in the "Extragear" section. Mathematical Markup Language (MathML) is a pair of mathematical markup languages, an application of XML for describing mathematical notations and capturing both its structure and content. Its aim is to natively integrate mathematical formulae into World Wide Web pages and other documents. It is part of HTML5 and standardised by ISO/IEC since 2015.
