København Håndbold
København Håndbold is a Danish women's handball club from Copenhagen, Denmark. It was established in the winter of 2013. It took over the league licence from Frederiksberg IF and is playing in the Bambusa Kvindeligaen. The club is owned by Kim Mikkelsen. History The company behind the club was founded on January 24, 2013, and on February 16th they took over the licence of Frederiksberg IF, allowing them to play in the Danish Women's Handball League. FIF had just been promoted the season prior. Their first season was the 2013-14 Damehåndboldligaen. The team finished 13th, one position above the relegation play off. In the 2016-2017 season, they reached the championship playoff for the first time. The club won the Danish Championship for the first time in the 2017/18 season, after first winning the first leg and later the decisive DM-finals against Odense Håndbold. Frederiksberghallen
Frederiksberghallen is an indoor sports arena in Copenhagen, Denmark primarily used for Team handball, handball. The arena can hold 1,400 spectators, 940 of them being seats (with a further 400 in a standing area if needed). It is home for København Håndbold. Previously, it has been the home of FCK Håndbold. Danish Handball Cup 2017 (women's Handball)
The 2017 Danish Handball Cup (), known as Santander Cup 2017 for sponsorship reasons, is the 54th edition of the national women's handball cup tournament. Randers HK are the defending champions. Format The initial 6 rounds are managed by the regional federations with the DHF taking over the tournament at the round of 16. It ultimately results in a final four event between Christmas and New Year. The winner of the tournament qualify for the Super Cup where they meet the season's league winner. If the same team wins both the league and the cup, the losing cup finalist will be participating in the Super Cup. Aimée von Pereira (born 16 February 2000) is a German handball player who plays for Nykøbing Falster Håndboldklub. In September 2018, she was included by EHF in a list of the twenty best young handballers to watch for the future. She made her debut for the German national team on 6 March 2025 against France. Helene Kindberg
Helene Kindberg (born 13 January 1998) is a Danish handball player who plays for Danish team Team Esbjerg and the Danish national team. She was elected as the Best Right back in the Danish Women's Handball League in 2019/20. Career Kindberg started her senior career at FC Midtjylland in 2017, where she was the back-up to Louise Burgaard. After one season she transferred to local rivals Silkeborg-Voel KFUM, where she once again was a rotational player, this time sharing playing time with the German Susann Müller. After she left the club, Kindberg became the first choice and since became one of the best players for the club. In 2020 she was selected for the Danish national team, but less than a month later she was sidelined with a cruciate ligament injury for more than a year. Stine Østergaard Jørgensen (born 3 September 1990) is a Danish handball player for København Håndbold. She was the team captain of the national team and participated at the 2011 World Women's Handball Championship in Brazil. In May 2020, she announced her retirement from the Danish national team. Club career She started playing handball at the age of 5 years, for her hometown Dronninglund. When she was 16 years old, she moved to the Danish top club Aalborg DH, where she also represented the youth team. In Aalborg DH, she received silver in the Danish Women's Handball League in 2009.
