Wolfson College, Oxford
Wolfson College () is a constituent college of the University of Oxford in England. Located in north Oxford along the River Cherwell, Wolfson is an all-graduate college with around sixty governing body fellows, in addition to both research and junior research fellows. It caters to a wide range of subjects, from the humanities to the social and natural sciences. Like the majority of Oxford's newer colleges, it has been coeducational since its foundation in 1965. The liberal philosopher Sir Isaiah Berlin was the college's first president, and was instrumental not only in its founding, but establishing its tradition of academic excellence and egalitarianism. Jonathan Sloane (November 1785April 25, 1854) was a U.S. Representative from Ohio. Born in Pelham, Massachusetts in November 1785, Sloane completed preparatory studies and was graduated from Williams College, Williamstown, Massachusetts, in 1812. He studied law, was admitted to the bar in 1816, and commenced practice in Ravenna, Ohio. He was also general agent of the Tappan family for the sale of lands. He served as prosecuting attorney of Portage County in 1819. The 2009 Cleveland Browns season was the team's 61st season as a professional sports franchise and its 57th season as a member of the National Football League (NFL). The team placed fourth in the AFC North with a record of 5–11, improving upon its 2008 Cleveland Browns season, 2008 record of 4–12, after winning their last four games of the season after a 1–11 start. This season marked George Kokinis and Eric Mangini's first seasons as the team's general manager and head coach, respectively; however, Kokinis was fired on November 2 during the team's Week 9 bye week.
