John Macco
John Macco (born September 23, 1958) is an American businessman and politician. A member of the Republican Party, he has represented the 88th district in the Wisconsin State Assembly since 2015. Early life and career Macco was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and graduated from Green Bay Southwest High School. He helped found and served as president of Macco's Floor Cover Centers, a retail and commercial flooring company with six locations in Wisconsin. Subsequently, he founded and served as president of Macco Financial Group, a financial advisory firm serving 15 states. Political career On November 4, 2014, Macco was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly, defeating Democratic challenger Dan Robinson. Macco was reelected in the 2016 election, defeating challenger Noah Reif. He retained his seat by defeating Tom Sieber in the 2018 election. In the 2020 election, he defeated Kristin Lyerly. Wisconsin's 88th Assembly District
The 88th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in Northeastern Wisconsin, the district covers part of central Brown County, Wisconsin, Brown County, including eastern parts of the city of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Green Bay, as well as the villages of Bellevue, Wisconsin, Bellevue and Denmark, Wisconsin, Denmark. The district also contains the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay campus. The district is represented by John Macco, since January 2015. WHBY
WHBY (1150 AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Kimberly, Wisconsin, that serves the Green Bay and Appleton- Oshkosh areas. The station is owned by Woodward Communications and it airs a news/talk radio format. WHBY's studios and microwave transmitter are located on East College Avenue in Appleton. By day, WHBY is powered at 20,000 watts. At night, the power increases to 25,000 watts. WHBY uses a directional antenna with a six-tower array to protect other stations on 1150 AM from interference. The transmitter is in Neenah, on Wisconsin Highway 76. Programming is also heard on FM translators in Appleton, Oshkosh and Wrightstown. Rebecca Ann Kleefisch (née Reed; born August 7, 1975) is an American politician and former television reporter who served as the 44th Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin from 2011 to 2019. A member of the Republican Party, she was elected to the position on November 2, 2010, as the running mate of Governor Scott Walker; the pair narrowly lost reelection to a third term in 2018.
