Joel Alme
Joel Alme (born 1980) is a musician and artist from Gothenburg, Sweden. Alme released his debut album ''A Master of Ceremonies'' on 22 April 2008 with "Queen's Corner" being the single. In 2010 he released his second studio album, called ''Waiting for the Bells''. He is the former lead singer for Spring in Paris. When Alme received grant money from the Swedish Arts Council (Kulturrådet) for his second album ''Waiting for the Bells''. Regarding the grant money, Alme stated that "it enabled me to use a real strings orchestra and I could spend more time in a very good studio with a good producer, Mattias Glavå." Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. Sincerely Yours is a Gothenburg-based independent record label formed in 2005 by the Swedish electronic pop duo The Tough Alliance. The duo created the record label after they left their former label Service. The Tough Alliance began by releasing their own music but has since then signed and released music from many different acts then themselves. Snart Skiner Poseidon
"Snart skiner poseidon" is a song by Joel Alme released in 2009, as the official anthem of Swedish football club IFK Göteborg. The song has been the club's entrance music since 2009, having replaced the previous anthem " Heja Blåvitt". The song is a remake of "A Young Summer's Youth", off Alme's debut album, but with new lyrics. The melody had also previously been used in the song "Utan personlig insats" by Hästpojken, a band Alme was a member of between 2007 and 2008. Background Before the start of the 2009 IFK Göteborg season, a debate among IFK supporters had started regarding a possible replacement of the then current anthem "Heja Blåvitt". IFK Göteborg
Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna Göteborg (officially IFK Göteborg Fotboll), commonly known as IFK Göteborg, IFK (especially locally) or simply Göteborg, is a Swedish professional football club based in Gothenburg.
