Jenny Omnichord
Jenny Mitchell, better known by the stage name Jenny Omnichord, is a Canadian indie rock musician. She has released three solo albums and an EP as a solo artist, and also records and performs with the bands The Barmitzvah Brothers and The Burning Hell. On ''Cities of Gifts and Ghosts'', Mitchell worked with a variety of influential Canadian record producers, including Don Kerr, Evan Gordon, Jim Guthrie, Bob Wiseman, Scott Merritt and Dave Clark. Collaborators on ''Charlotte or Otis: Duets for Children, Their Parents and Other People Too'', her 2008 children's album, included Andy Magoffin, Wax Mannequin, Shad, Kim Barlow, Ida Nilsen, Old Man Luedecke and Tony Dekker of Great Lake Swimmers. Omnichord
The Omnichord is an electronic musical instrument introduced in 1981 by the Suzuki Musical Instrument Corporation. It typically features a touch plate known as "Sonic Strings", preset rhythms, auto-bass line functionality, and buttons for major, minor, and 7th chords. The most basic method of playing the instrument is to press the chord buttons and swipe the Sonic Strings with a finger in imitation of strumming a stringed instrument. The Sonic Strings may also be touched in one place to create a single note. Originally designed as an electronic Autoharp, the Omnichord has become popular, due to its unique, chiming, harplike timbre and its value as a kitsch object. Sidewalk Prophets is an American contemporary Christian music band from Nashville. Their album ''These Simple Truths'' contained the single "The Words I Would Say" which is also featured on ''WOW Hits 2010'' and ''WOW Hits 2011''. The group won the 2010 GMA Dove Award for New Artist of the Year. Great Lake Swimmers is a Canadian folk rock band from Wainfleet, Ontario, and currently based in Toronto. Old Man Luedecke
Old Man Luedecke is the recording name of two-time Juno Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter and banjo player Chris Luedecke of Chester, Nova Scotia. He is most noted as a two-time Juno Award winner for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year – Solo, winning at the Juno Awards of 2009 for ''Proof of Love'' and at the Juno Awards of 2011 for ''My Hands are on Fire and Other Love Songs''. Ida Nilsen
Ida Nilsen is a Canadian indie pop singer-songwriter and musician. She has been a member of the bands Radiogram, The Violet Archers, The Beans, The Gay, The Buttless Chaps and The Choir Practice, and has appeared as a guest musician on albums by P:ano, Jerk With a Bomb, Montag and Veda Hille. She formed her own band, Great Aunt Ida, in 2003. That band released its debut album, ''Our Fall'', in 2005.
