Jamie Jones (DJ)
Jamie Jones is a Welsh DJ, producer and two time DJ Awards winner. Biography He is a member of the electronic music group Hot Natured and the head of the record label Hot Creations, as well as its sub-labels Emerald City and Hottrax. Jones was voted the top DJ of 2011 by the online dance music magazine ''Resident Advisor''. In 2012 he received mainstream success with Hot Natured's single ''Benediction'', which reached number 31 in the UK Singles Chart. Jones hosts his own ''Paradise'' party at Ibiza's DC10 nightclub. In early 2016 Jones launched The House of Hot, an online shop clothing line, vinyl and artwork. On August 31, 2021 Jones began an internationally syndicated show called Hot Robot Radio. Bontnewydd, Gwynedd
Bontnewydd (Welsh, meaning 'New Bridge' in English) is a small village and community with a population of 1,162 located on the A487 road south of Caernarfon in Gwynedd, Wales, close to the river Gwyrfai, from its outflow into Foryd Bay. It is served by Bontnewydd railway station, an unstaffed halt on the Welsh Highland Railway. The village has one small supermarket, an outdoor attraction called Gypsy Wood Park, a pub called The Newborough Arms and one school. Bontnewydd was known as Bodallog prior to the new bridge being built. According to the 2011 Census, Bontnewydd is the community with the 3rd highest percentage of Welsh speakers in Wales. 82.6% of residents aged three and over reported being able to speak Welsh in the 2011 Census, as compared to 84.8% reporting being able to do so in the 2001 Census. DJ Awards
DJ Awards is a celebration of electronic music, and aims to recognise and honour DJs and individuals who have influenced electronic dance music worldwide. Held annually in Ibiza at the end of the summer season, DJ Awards has retained the same ethos since its conception. The fundamental philosophy is not that of a competition, as we are dealing with an art form whose merits are purely subjective, and therefore who can say what is the best. Rather DJ Awards seeks to shine a light on key talents in the industry. DJ Awards was formed in 1998 by José Pascual and Lenny Krarup. The ceremony is held once a year at a well known venue in Ibiza. Curtis Alan Jones (born April 26, 1968), better known by his stage name Green Velvet, is an American singer, record producer and DJ. He is also known as Cajmere, Geo Vogt, Half Pint, Curan Stone, and Gino Vittori. Early life Curtis Alan Jones was born on April 26, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up listening to blues, jazz, funk, and rock. In the mid 1980s, he was introduced to house music via the radio. From November 2001 to November 2018, the London nightclub fabric ran a monthly mix compilation series. Mixed by a variety of emerging and established DJs, the two series were entitled ''fabric'' and ''FABRICLIVE'' respectively. The compilation mixes were released independently by fabric on an alternating monthly basis. In May 2018, fabric announced that the ''fabric'' series would end "in its current form" with its 100th instalment; in October 2018, fabric revealed the final ''fabric'' compilation would be a triple-disc set, mixed by two of the club's residents— Craig Richards and Terry Francis—as well as its founder, Keith Reilly.
