Jalsa (film)
''Jalsa'' () is a 2008 Indian Telugu language, Telugu-language action comedy film written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by Allu Aravind, under the Geetha Arts banner starring Pawan Kalyan, Ileana D'Cruz, Ileana, Parvati Melton, Kamalinee Mukerji, Mukesh Rishi and Prakash Raj. The soundtrack of the film composed by Devi Sri Prasad, was launched on 29 February 2008. The film was released on 2 April 2008. Plot Sanjay Sahu aka Sanju is a post-graduate and works as a aerobics instructor. He is in love with Indu, who wishes to marry him. She makes him meet her father, who is a police officer and also happens to be his old acquaintance. Her father declines to approve of their love, and she is forced to marry according to her father's choice. Meanwhile, Indu's sister Bhagyamathi aka Bhagi and her friend Jyothsna aka Jo are chased by hoodlums before being rescued by Sanju. Trivikram Srinivas
Trivikram Srinivas (born Akella Naga Srinivasa Sarma; 7 November 1971), often credited as Trivikram, is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu cinema. In 2021, he became one of the highest-paid directors in Cinema of South India, South Indian cinema. He has garnered six state Nandi Awards for Nandi Award for Best Dialogue Writer, Best Dialogue Writer and two Filmfare Awards South, Filmfare Awards for Filmfare Award for Best Director - Telugu, Best Director. In 2015, he received the BN Reddy National Award for his contribution to Indian cinema. A University gold medalist with a Master's degree in Nuclear physics, Trivikram initially had no plans for entering entertainment industry, but his keen interest in Film and Telugu Literature paved the way into becoming a Screenwriter, and a Film director.
