Júlia Láng (figure Skater)
Júlia Láng (born 6 November 2003) is a retired Hungarian figure skater. She has represented her country at two (2018, 2019) Junior World Championships and three ( 2021, 2022, 2023) Senior World Championships. Láng is a four-time Hungarian national champion (2018, 2021–23). She is known for her signature move, a highly flexible layback slide variation performed while holding the blade, which she was the first to introduce in international competition. She was first documented performing the move in practice on July 17, 2017. Career 2017–2018 season Láng made her debut in the ISU Junior Grand Prix series at the 2017 event in Salzburg, where she also performed her signature slide move for the first time in competition. In January 2018 Láng became the junior national champion. In March, she represented Hungary at the 2018 World Junior Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria. Hungarian Figure Skating Championships
The Hungarian Figure Skating Championships are held annually to crown the national champions of Hungary. Skaters compete in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance at the senior, junior, and novice levels, although not every discipline is held every year due to a lack of participants. László Vajda holds the record for winning the most Hungarian Championship titles in men's singles (with ten), while Júlia Sebestyén holds the record in women's singles (with nine). Marianna Nagy and László Nagy hold the record in pair skating (with eight), and Krisztina Regőczy and András Sallay hold the record in ice dance (with nine). Figure Skating At The 2022 Winter Olympics – Qualification
The following is about the qualification rules and allocation of spots for the figure skating events at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Qualification system A total of 144 quota spots are available to athletes to compete at the games. A maximum of 18 athletes can be entered by a National Olympic Committee, with a maximum of 9 men or 9 women. There is also an "Additional Athletes Quota" which allows up to a maximum of 5 more total skaters, bringing the potential total to 149. The host (China) is the priority for these additional places so that if they have met minimum standards they may have an entry in each event, other than the team event. If unused, these five quotas can be used to qualify nations for the team event if they only need an entry in one more discipline. 2021 CS Nebelhorn Trophy
The 2021 CS Nebelhorn Trophy was held on September 22–25, 2021 in Oberstdorf, Germany. It was part of the 2021–22 ISU Challenger Series. It was also the final qualifying event for the 2022 Winter Olympics. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. In December 2020, the International Skating Union designated Nebelhorn Trophy as the official figure skating qualification competition for the 2022 Winter Olympics.
