Jönköping University
Jönköping University (JU), formerly Högskolan i Jönköping, is a non-governmental Swedish university college located in the city Jönköping in Småland, Sweden. JU is a member of the European University Association (EUA) and The Association of Swedish Higher Education, SUHF. Organization JU is one of three Swedish private institutions of higher education with the right to award doctoral degrees in certain areas such as social sciences. JU operates on the basis of an agreement with the Government of Sweden and conforms to national degree regulations and quality requirements. Agneta Marell
Agneta Marell (born 1964 in Gothenburg, Sweden) is professor in Business Administration and since 2010, Deputy vice-chancellor for external relations and innovation at Umeå University in northern Sweden. Between 2004 and 2007, she was the Dean of Umeå School of Business, succeeding Anders Söderholm. In 2008–2011, she was a municipal manager for Örnsköldsvik municipality. She received the assignment as vice rector for collaboration and innovation at Umeå University. As such, she was also chairman of Uminova Holding, the business incubator Uminova Innovation AB and Uminova eXpression AB, which runs Sliperiet at the Umeå Arts Campus. Jönköping School Of Engineering
The Jönköping School of Engineering is one of four schools which form Jönköping University. The School of Engineering was formally established in 1994 but has a history that dates back to 1975. In 2006 about 2,500 students attend the school. Jönköping University has about 11,500 students. It is the third largest such school in Sweden. The school is also a member of the CDIO Initiative, which is an educational framework to conceive and develop a new vision of engineering education and for producing the next generation of engineering leaders. Urban Bäckström
Urban Bäckström (born 25 May 1954, Sollefteå, Västernorrlands län) is a Swedish economist who was CEO of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise from 2005 to 2014 and governor of the Bank of Sweden from 1994 to 2002. Personal Bäckström grew up in Visby and Helsingborg and graduated with a degree in economics from Stockholm University. He is married to Ewa, who works for SAS. The couple has two children. Career Urban Bäckström started his career at the Ministry of Finance during the Thorbjörn Fälldin government. He was later the chief economist for the centre-right Moderate Party. While state secretary at the Ministry of Finance he was involved among other things in the management of Sweden's financial crisis of the early 1990s. In 1994 he was appointed governor of the Bank of Sweden.
