Józef Gąsienica Daniel
Józef Gąsienica Daniel (15 June 1945 – 6 February 2008) was a Polish skier. He competed in the Nordic combined event at the 1968 Winter Olympics. He was also the brother of three fellow Winter Olympians: cross-country skier Helena Gąsienica Daniel, alpine skier Maria Gąsienica Daniel-Szatkowska and ski jumper Andrzej Gąsienica Daniel. Nordic combined is a winter sport in which athletes compete in cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skiing and ski jumping. The Nordic combined at the Winter Olympics has been held since the first 1924 Winter Olympics, Winter Olympics in 1924, while the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup has been held since 1983. Maryna Gąsienica-Daniel
Maryna Gąsienica-Daniel (born 19 February 1994) is a World Cup alpine ski racer from Poland. She competed for Poland at the 2014 Winter Olympics in the alpine skiing events, and was 32nd in the giant slalom. She finished 34th in the giant slalom at the World Championships in 2013, and won a gold medal in giant slalom at the 2013 Winter Universiade. She was also fifth in the giant slalom at the 2013 World Junior Championships in Quebec. At the 2021 World Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo, she placed joint fifth in the parallel giant slalom and sixth in the giant slalom. She is from a winter sports family: her grandfather Franciszek Gąsienica Daniel was a competitive skier. Agnieszka Anna Gąsienica-Daniel (born 22 December 1987) is a female skier from Poland. She took part in the Alpine skiing events at the 2010 Winter Olympics, and at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in 2007. She is from a winter sports family: her grandfather Franciszek Gąsienica Daniel was a competitive skier.
