Jérôme Chiotti
Jérôme Chiotti (born 18 January 1972) is a French former professional racing cyclist who competed in road bicycle racing, road, cyclo-cross and mountain bike disciplines. He is most renowned for his victory in the 1996 UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships, 1996 World Mountain Bike Championships, a title which he later renounced by admitting doping. Doping admission Chiotti admitted to doping in order to win the 1996 World Championships in an interview with French magazine ''Vélo Vert'' on 23 April 2000. He admitted to spending up to US$6000 per year for Erythropoetin, EPO. He consequently renounced his World title during a press conference in Paris on 25 May 2000. The official UCI results were amended to reflect Thomas Frischknecht as the winner of the 1996 World Champion title. Millau
Millau (; ) is a commune in Occitania, France. Located at the confluence of the Tarn and Dourbie rivers, the town is a subprefecture of the Aveyron department. Millau is known for its Viaduct, glove industry and several nearby natural landmarks such as the Gorges du Tarn. The surrounding Causses are renowned for their pastoral traditions and cheese production, including Roquefort. In this regard, the region has been part of the Causses and Cévennes World Heritage Site since 2011. The 1998 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships were held in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Quebec, Canada from 14 to 20 September 1998. The disciplines included were cross-country and downhill. Tour de Bretagne Cycliste, also known as the Tour de Bretagne trophée des granitiers and formerly known as Ruban Granitier Breton, is an annual early season professional road bicycle racing, cycling stage race held in late April and early May in Brittany, France. The race often acts as a showcase for upcoming riders of the under-23 category who race together with Elite riders. The race was renamed Tour de Bretagne in 2005 when it also became a professional race. The 2007 edition was dominated by Lars Boom and Edvald Boasson Hagen who both wore the leader's jersey and won stages of the race.
