Juuso Walden
Juuso Walfrid Walden (5 April 1907 – 19 November 1972) was a Finnish industrial leader and entrepreneur, long term CEO of Yhtyneet Paperitehtaat, the predecessor of United Paper Mills. Early life and upbringing Juuso Walden was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia in 1907. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1925 from the Helsinki School of Economics and completed his studies later in England on paper marketing. Since his early years, Juuso Walden worked at the mills of United Paper Mills founded by his father, general Rudolf Walden. Juuso started as a trainee, soon rose to become Office Manager and later Corporate Sales Manager. Inga Juuso (5 October 1945 – 23 August 2014) was a Sami yoiker, singer and actress in the film ''The Kautokeino Rebellion''. She was known from her own band performances, and recordings and collaborations with musicians like Steinar Raknes, Håkon Mjåset Johansen, and Jørn Øien. Career Juuso was the first Sami named "Traditional Folk Musician of the year" in Norway 2012, and had a long career performing with various musicians in Scandinavia. She also appeared in the film ''The Kautokeino Rebellion'' (2008) by Nils Gaup, and was recognized as a major carrier and promoter of the Sami cultural tradition. Juuso Riikola (born 9 November 1993) is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing with SCL Tigers of the National League (NL). His brother, Simo-Pekka, also played professionally. Playing career Riikola made his SM-liiga debut playing with KalPa as a 19-year-old during the 2012–13 SM-liiga season. He dressed for 20 games while posting 6 assists from the blueline. Per Isak Nikolaus Juuso, born 1 May 1953 in Karesuando parish, Norrbotten County, Sweden, is a Swedish-Sámi artisan and teacher. Biography Per Isak Juuso grew up in Mertajärvi, south of Karesuando. His parents were active reindeer herders and he learned to be an artisan from them. He trained to become a silversmith, then furthered his education in metal and design, the latter for the textile artist Wanja Djanaieff. He has also studied pedagogy at the Sámi University of Applied Sciences in Kautokeino. Juuso has worked in metal, wood, horn, leather and textiles and has been a leading developer of modern Sámi handicrafts (daidda duodji). Juuso Simpanen (born 8 June 1991) is a Finnish ultra runner and former footballer. He has played for Finnish Ykkönen club Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho. After starting his career with local TiPS, young Simpanen moved to neighbours FC Honka, where he finished his football grooming and raised to the first team squad in 2010. Juuso Hietanen (born 14 June 1985) is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman for HPK of the Liiga. Playing career Hietanen made his SM-liiga debut with HPK during the 2003–04 season, and two years later he became a regular player on the team. He also visited Pelicans early in his career and was part of the Finnish national junior team in the 2005 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. At the time of his SM-liiga debut, he was the first third generation player in the top level of Finnish ice hockey. In 2006 he celebrated the championship with HPK. Juuso Ikonen (born 3 January 1995) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for HIFK in the Liiga. Playing career Undrafted, Ikonen in the 2012 regular season with Espoo Blues he had four goals and five assists in 20 games. In the playoffs, he had four goals and two assists in 15 games. Juuso Puustinen (born April 5, 1988 in Kuopio, Finland) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing for Örebro HK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He was selected in fifth round, 149th overall by the Calgary Flames in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
